Smell Good This Winter

Winter is almost here, and smelling great is more important than ever. But not everything smells great during winter. You can’t just apply Dior Sauvage at 40* Fahrenheit and expect it to work, even though Dior Sauvage smells spectacular.

Different seasons have different scent notes that work better than others. Different occasions also require you to smell different. Another example with Dior Sauvage, I have nothing against Dior Sauvage, would be you wearing it in the office. My guy, it's a club fragrance, not an office fragrance!!!

My first pick for this winter is Burberry London. It's a spicy blend of Lavender, Warm Cinnamon, and Bergamot as its top notes. Base notes are a combination of Leather and dense oak moss. Longevity is roughly 4 to 4.5 hours and then it becomes skin scent. I love Burberry London for men specifically for its strong spicy lavender open, best used as your daily driver.

The second pick for this winter would be the Dolce and Gabbana The One EDP. It's a sweeter fragrance with top notes consisting of Basil, Coriander, and Basil. Middle notes consisting of Cardamom, Ginger, and Orange Blossoms. Base notes consisting of Amber, Leather, and Cedar. It's a warm, sweet, and sexy fragrance with 8+ hours of longevity. Best used for date nights.

My third pick for this winter would have to be the Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee EDP. This is what James Bond smells like: sweet, sexy, and seductive. The top notes consist of Bergamot, middle notes consist of Iris and Chestnut. Base notes consisting of Whiskey, Woodsy, and Amber. This is one of the few fragrances that I think are perfect for all occasions with a solid longevity of 14+ hours. Seriously it stays with you.

One of the most well-known and loved winter fragrances is Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. Although it is a little pricy, it's also like an investment. It will probably get you more compliments than you can count. The top notes consist of Tobacco Leaf and Spicy notes. The middle notes consist of Vanilla, Cocoa, Tonka beans, and Tobacco blossom. The base notes consist of Dried fruits and woody notes. Except for the office, this perfume works for every situation, especially with its 7+ hours of lasting power.

My final pick for this winter would have to be Creed Royal Oud. This is probably one of the most unique winter perfumes I have ever smelled. The top notes consist of Pink Pepper, Lemon, and Sicilian Bergamot. Middle notes consist of Cedar, Angelica, and Galbanum. Base notes consist of Agarwood (Oud), Sandalwood, and Musk. It is a rich, spicy, smokey perfume that's made for those who are looking for something a little more unique. It's also a beast with 14+ hours of longevity.
